About the role
The Community Partnerships Intern role is for a student who wants to build relationships, not just send emails. You'll work with UT student organizations, local nonprofits, and Fort Sanders neighborhood groups to plan our quarterly community days, coffee donation drives, and partner events.
You'll be the face of the café in the community when ownership can't be in the room.
What you'll do: • Maintain a partner database of UT orgs, nonprofits, and neighborhood groups we work with • Plan and execute quarterly community days at the café • Coordinate our coffee donation drives (we partner with three local nonprofits) • Pitch and book community-related programming • Represent the café at neighborhood association meetings • Track outcomes and report back to ownership
What we're looking for: • Communications, Political Science, or Sociology major • Class of 2026 or 2027 • Strong written and verbal communication; this role is people-facing • Comfortable representing the café in front of stakeholders • Available 10 to 12 hours per week, including some evenings
