About the role
The Health Data & Analytics Intern role is for a student who can pull real insights from our patient registry and outcomes data. We have years of underutilized data and not enough analyst hours.
This is real analytics work, not building dashboards from a tutorial. You'll surface patterns that change how we run our programs.
What you'll do: • Build and maintain SQL queries against our patient registry • Run cohort analysis on outcomes data (chronic disease, prenatal, behavioral health) • Build out our internal dashboards (Tableau or Looker) • Help with our annual outcomes report to funders • Document data definitions so other staff can self-serve • Pair with clinical leadership on analysis questions
What we're looking for: • Public Health, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or Statistics major • Minimum 3.0 GPA • Real SQL skills (you'll write queries day one) • Comfort with Excel; bonus for R or Python • Discreet; you'll see real patient data (with appropriate guardrails)
