About the role
The Pre-Law Clerkship is the role for juniors who are seriously considering law school and want to know what the day-to-day actually looks like. You'll shadow attorneys in court, sit in on client meetings, and help with intake.
Less drafting than our Paralegal or Litigation Research roles. More observation and exposure.
What you'll do: • Shadow attorneys in court for hearings, motions, and trials • Sit in on client intake meetings (with consent) • Help with new-client intake paperwork • Observe deposition prep • Attend our weekly case strategy meetings • Maintain a reflection log we'll review with you monthly
What we're looking for: • Class of 2025 or 2026 (juniors and seniors planning to apply to law school) • Genuine interest in practicing law (not just "I'm considering it") • Professional presentation; you'll be in court and meeting clients • Available 8 to 12 hours per week • Strong written and verbal communication
